In the blink of an eye, and September is upon us. My team and I hope you are keeping healthy and active. As you know, we re-opened on the 4th August and I’m pleased to say that it has been a successful month. The protocols we have in place have gone off smoothly, the reason for which is due to 2 big reasons: members and my team.
Between these 2 groups of individuals, we have, with mutual respect and care for everyone in our community, managed to re-open safely. I would like to personally thank my team, Bilal, Rohan, Jenn and Rodney, and our active members, for making this first month back a success. Your continued support and patience have made these challenging times easier to navigate and if it wasn’t for each of you, I know for certain, our first month back would have been far less successful. So again, I sincerely thank you and appreciate each and every single one of you.
For many members, and understandably so, there is a lot of uncertainty and fear about returning to a gym. As such, I’ve made the following policy changes:
If your membership has been on hold since we closed doors in March, it will be terminated this month
If you return to Free Run and restart your membership before 31 December 2020, we will honor the same pricing plan you were on at the time of cancellation. The admin fee will be voided too.
Membership prices are increasing for new memberships sold from January 2021.
The 30 day cancellation policy is back in effect as of 1st September 2020
Hours of Operation
As of September 6th, we will be resuming normal hours across all 7 days of the week. I’ve also attached our September class schedule for you all. Please note however, that we are closed on Monday, 7th September, for Labour Day.
On the note of masks, we do highly recommend you wear one upon entering the reception area, which you may then remove when you are in your workout area. However, with the re-opening of showers and the use of some lockers, you are required to wear a mask when entering the changerooms, regardless of what you may need the changerooms for.
In October, we will be introducing new programming for kids, ages 9-14. These will be small groups of 4 kids, coming in for 1 hour, once a week, on either a Monday or Thursday, at 4pm or 5:30pm. These programs will run for 8 week blocks and will be instructed by Rodney. If you would like me to send you more information, please let me know and I’ll add you to my distribution list.
